Winter Home Apothecary

Winter Home Apothecary

Call me a daydreamer but becoming an herbalist is no doubt a magnificent product of dreaming and working hard for those dreams. I always used to imagine myself in a cottage built at the end of the forest, strung with drying plant bundles and shelves stacked with tinctures, infusions, and other remedies.

Today, I have managed to create my own customized kitchen where I have all these remedies at hand and I like to call it my apothecary. It's packed with all sorts of wonders- dried herbs, tinctures, infusions, oxymels, salves, steam mixes, flower essences, hydrosols, and anything you name.

For most people, especially those who are new to herbalism and homesteading, building a home apothecary can be a confusing task as you don’t know where to start.

I have devoted this blog to a list of all the winter essentials you will ever need to incorporate in your home apothecary to help you get through the harshness of the end of winter and early spring days.

Elderberry Syrup

Our Elderberry Syrup is a blockbuster hit among all the syrups we have tried our hand at. Its rich berry blast and strong ginger punch with a powerhouse of nutrients, including vitamins A, B6, C, and iron, keep you coming for more. Its immune-strengthening properties come in handy during the seasonal change to evade the tyranny of coughs, sniffs, and blocked noses.

It is a strong blend of organic elderberries paired with ginger, cloves, cinnamon, and honey. All these ingredients produce a massive synergy to keep you healthy and active throughout the winter season.

Fire Tonic

Our Fire Tonic is a golden blend of nutritious herbs, including garlic, rosemary, parsley, thyme, onion, jalapeno, lemon, lime, turmeric, ginger, and horseradish, infused in apple cider vinegar and honey. It can be a great addition to your apothecary, provided its massive benefits that protect against a wide array of maladies, flu, common cold, respiratory disorder, and hangover.

Add Fire Tonic to your cart and let it enhance the prestige of your winter home apothecary.

Vapor Rub

Stuffy nose and chest congestion have been poking our winter night routine ever since we can remember. We all have been using conventional rubs and balms to satiate our breathing but now is the time to switch to organic and go for Vapor Rub. It is formulated with harmless ingredients, instilled with the goodness of organic eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils to help relieve cough, cold, congestion, and fever.

Get Vapor Rub now and apply it to your chest, sides of the throat area, and bottom of the feet to reduce the severity of winter maladies.

Breath Easier Herbal Steam

A good inhale and a long exhale- the very original reason that we are up and alive! We all need it as much as we overlook it. The only time we realize our precious breath is during blocked nose episodes.

Breath Easier Herbal Steam is a blend of 6 powerful herbs that are notorious for their synergy that results in a better breathing experience. It is composed of lavish herbs, such as mugwort, ginger, chamomile, sage, peppermint, and thyme. It helps with chest congestion, clogged sinuses, and stagnant phlegm, clearing them all out to give you a good inhale and a long exhale.

Immunity Oxymel

Oxymels are the product of a love marriage of vinegar and honey. Taking advantage of that love, we infused some ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and fresh lemons to give your immunity a much-needed boost to cope with the ups and downs of winter. We call it Immunity Oxymel and it's up for sale on our website and store. Grab it before it runs out of stock and add it to your winter home apothecary to get along with this season.

Relax Tea Blend

Relax Tea Blend reminds me of a serene evening in a cup. This hand-crafted blend is enriched with the goodness of organic catnip, holy basil, and lemon balm. Brew it and enjoy that sparkling zest to tackle anxiety, stress, indigestion, flatulence, colic, headaches, cramps, and other body aches.

Add it to your winter home apothecary list and wrap up your tiring days with a cup of Relax Tea Blend for a restful night’s sleep.
