It was launched in 2015 by Shannon and Matt to create a benchmark in the western herbal industry. Mayernik Kitchen offers more than 75 organic products, manufactured from the herbs grown on their herb farm, fulfilling the commitment to producing the purest and healthiest products.
Shannon is an herbalist and plant medicine maker who started her green journey back in 2012. She graduated from Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and became an herbalist under the apprenticeship of Robin Rose Bennet. Her passion and diligence of preserving also garnered her the title of Master Food Preserver in 2019.
Matt was put in charge of the family's garden at a very young age and it became a passion for Matt who now possesses 30 years of treasured experience in growing vegetables and medicinal plants. His passion along with form and function became the perfect essence for creating a sustainable ecosystem, where he produces hundreds of pounds of harvest every year in his home backyard garden and herb farm.
