What is Mayernik Kitchen Herbal Apothecary?

Located in Sussex County, our herb farm nurtures more than 50 diverse varieties of medicinal plants. Our journey begins in February with the meticulous process of seed starting, progressing seamlessly through the seasons. As early spring arrives, we embark on the planting phase, and our efforts culminate in a year-round cycle of harvesting. 

We also offer a medicinal herb plant sale May thru June, offering the community hard to find medicinal herbs.

Utilizing the herbs cultivated on our farm, we handcrafted small-batch herbal preparations available at our retail store in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, and nationwide through our online apothecary.

In Pompton Plains, New Jersey, we provide in-person classes covering a range of topics including medicine making, preservation techniques, plant identification, fermentation, and more. 

Additionally, we offer a comprehensive 10-month farm apprenticeship program running from February to November. This immersive experience guides participants through the complete journey from seed to harvest, providing hands-on learning opportunities and valuable insights into herbal cultivation and production.
