Description

Skullcap Tincture is a toning and restoring alcoholic extract of the skullcap plant. For centuries, this remedy has served millions of masses by imparting sedative, anxiolytic, antispasmodic, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, antipyretic, antiallergic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-epileptic actions. It can be used for sleep disorders (especially insomnia), anxiety, restlessness, agitation, allergic reactions, skin problems, mild seizures, and fever. It also reduces the LDL (bad cholesterol) levels that in turn reduces the chances of cardiovascular diseases, such as hypertension, atherosclerosis (plaque build-up in arteries), and other heart irregularities.

Diabetes patients can also use it to lower their blood glucose levels but the patient must not take it with any other hypoglycemic drug and monitor their sugar levels vigilantly as skullcap is notorious for dangerously inducing hypoglycemia (low sugar level).
